SO after three years of saying next year I FINALLY got E signed up for swim lessons. I figured with us going to Flordia in May he would really enjoy it better if he has some concept of water safety. I totally surprised him with it and he was blown away. He did wonderful and is already over the fear of going under the water. I am so glad that we are doing this finally!

My AS son is 6 and he's terrified of going under the water. He loves "swimming" but of course can't actually swim without help because of the going under water issue. Ever summer I take him swimming several times a week and occassionally now that school has started. I thought that if I just kept consistent he would eventually lose the fear but it's not happening like that. What do you think it was about the swim lesson that helped your son to put his head under water? I'm very curious. Thanks.
